Our Quality Control System
Our quality control system, developed over the years, is implemented right from the inspection of raw materials to the final dispatch. Our testing lab is equipped with all necessary measurement and testing tools to enable stage-wise product testing throughout the manufacturing process.
At Tracforge, our priority is to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering quality products and services — now and always. We have a strong technology and human resource base to meet the exacting standards of the most demanding customers, both in India and globally.
We use branded instruments that are regularly calibrated to ensure precision. To maintain quality in a high-volume environment, robust quality plans with multiple layers of checks and controls are implemented to deliver zero-defect products to our customers.
We actively promote our quality policy and ensure the consistency and visibility of quality standards, processes, and performance indicators across all levels at Tracforge. All raw materials undergo full dimensional and metallurgical inspection before being approved for production.
Stage-wise Quality Inspection
Rigorous checks at every phase ensure that only the finest components move forward.
Raw Material Inspection
Forgings are procured using steel from approved steel mills only. Forgings are received Heat Code Wise in duly Isothermally Annealed/ Normalized condition. Following Checks are carried out before further processing:
- Visual Inspection for cracks and folds
- Dimensional Inspection
- Check of Chemical Composition by spectro Analysis
- Hardness
- Jominy hardenability
- Micro Structure and Inclusions
- Grains size and Grain Flow
In-Process Inspection
To ensure consistent quality and adherence to customer and industry standards, the following in-process inspections are performed at critical stages of manufacturing:
- First-Off Inspection
- Patrol Inspection
- In-Process Dimensional Checks
- Surface Finish Inspection
- Fitment and Assembly Checks (if applicable)
- Tool Wear Monitoring:
- Pre-Heat Treatment Inspection
Heat Treatment & Post-Process
Controlled batches tested for optimal material properties.
